I will be reopening Neko-Rin Scanlations in about 1-2 months if things go well. I've been learning Korean to translate Korean Manhwa. So I will need a team again.
I will be working on translating ch 03 & 04 of If U, ch 01 & 02 of Man's House and ch 02 & 03 of Boys Break starting tomorrow. I should be finished no later than Wednesday if I work nonstop. But we won't release chapters until April.
Ok, I can't take it anymore. I can't read the small fonts from If U or Model Student so I'm putting them on the back burner and working on Cream and Eonnyeongi Story instead. However, if you are still cleaning for those series, please continue to do so until you are done. It will be good to have them cleaned for when we actually release them in the near future. But for now, to get our name out there I will do these two series. Please visit the new forum for details as this forum will close soon. Thanks!

When first starting out, please keep this thread open while doing your job, so that you can make sure you are following everything correctly.
When you first enter this thread you will see the threads for when work is completed. Once you scroll down you will see threads for each series that we are releasing. In each of these threads is where you can see which jobs are available to do for series. If there is an empty space next to a job (i.e. Cleaner: ___), and you would like to do it, please post in the >><< thread or send a pm to "neko-rin". Or if you'd just prefer for me to assign you a job, I'd be more than willing just pm me.

Qualifications : * Experience not needed but encouraged. * A good knowledge of the English language- and I do mean the English language. All standards of it... American, Britain, Aussie... every little thing helps. * Not required to know Japanese/Chinese/Korean, but it is however, encouraged. * Good comprehension skills. * Able to read a sentence and be able to tell what the meaning is and be able to change how it's worded without changing the meaning. * Understanding the flow of a script is to be consistent. Any sentence that suddenly and abruptly breaks the flow should be looked at and considered for alterations and if it can't be changed alter the sentences around it to flow with it. * Slang is acceptable if the translator wants to have it in there, but proofers do not have any direct rights to alter the script to include it because he wants to include it. Any sentences that *must* change context to make sense should be run past a translator or have gotten a second opinion on the change from someone in charge. *You don’t need to have any image editing program. You just need a text program like MS Word, Notepad, etc.
*NOTE* We accept trainees...it takes practice to perfect a skill, so we won't turn you away....that's why we have editors...to help train you.
Well, I just thought that maybe I should post this since it affects what series I will be releasing and what text will be allowed in the releases as well. I will not allow these things for personal reasons and since this is my group, whatever is released reflects back upon me and what I would allow and if I don't allow these things in my life normally, then I will not allow them as an exception because of an internet group.
NRS will not releases series of the following genres: Supernatural, Magic, Bloody Violence, Smut, Yaoi, Yuri, Shoujo-Ai, Shonen-Ai or anything like these. If translators, cleaners or typesetters come across any profanity it will be erased or replaced. Simple as that.
But know that NRS will release funny, exciting, romantic, action packed series that has high quality all around and we want you to enjoy what we bring to you!!
